Your body’s weight is merely a number that indicates the amount of muscle, fat, bone and bodily fluids. When most people say they want to lose weight they generally mean that they want to lose size. While your weight can fluctuate depending on the amount of food and water you have consumed, number of bowel movements, fat loss, muscle gain and hormonal changes, your measurements should always give you an accurate picture of how you are tracking. Just ensure that the measurements are always taken in the same spot.
