cancelations & suspensions

Suspensions - please note during COVID-19. Suspension rights have been expanded.

Burnfit 247 members are allowed 4 weeks of suspended membership per calendar year at no charge however any suspended weeks will not be counted as a part of your minimum term. Suspension requests must be submitted at least 2 weeks prior to the next payment due date.

Cancelations

One month's notice in writing is required for cancelation of direct debit memberships. If you have not met your minimum term then a cancellation of $150 becomes payable.

terms & conditions

You’d be amazed at how many people sign documents without reading and as a community gym we care about our members and want to be sure you understand the key conditions of your membership before you sign up.

Financial

After minimum term has passed, direct debit membership payments continue automatically until one month’s notice in writing is provided. Your debits will NOT stop until you provide written cancelation notice. If you have a minimum term and wish to cancel prior to the expiry of my minimum term you may either; transfer membership to another party by paying the Transfer Fee ($25) or pay a $150 cancellation fee

You do not receive direct debit reminders and in the event that the direct debit is dishonoured the Direct Debit company will attempt to recover outstanding fees along with administration fees.  Receipts are not issued. The monthly fee will appear on bank/credit card statements. If you do not renew your upfront membership prior to the end of the term, your FOB Access key will cease to work.

Suspension is available for a maximum of 4 weeks per year and suspension time is not included in minimum term.
